We have 80g of ready to use, active sourdough mother starter. Best to start using it after a day of feed.
This is made from 100% organic strong wheat flour.
*Please feed every day. Freeze to store.
How to Preserve your Mother Starter
You can keep your sourdough starter in the refrigerator for up to 10 days without feeding. Once you are ready to bake again, please follow the “feeding” steps (in room temperature) before you start using your starter for baking again.
If you are going to wait longer than 10 days because of travelling etc., you can keep the starter in the freezer. Once you are ready to bake again, please defrost the starter in room temperature and begin the feeding process again. It might take 2 -3 times repeating this process until the starter becomes fully active again.
What is Sourdough?
Sourdough bread making traced back to the ancient art of artisan bread making that uses 3 basic ingredients, ie flour + water + salt and time for fermentation. All other additive/unnatural ingredients that commercially produced bread include are eliminated.
Why it’s good for you?
Sourdough bread is healthy, is gentle to the digestive system, is delicious and the crumb texture gives a satisfying mouth feel.

Great help indeed! And so encouraging. I’m in fact thinking of buying on more for backup. Moreover, I shall complete my utensil line with the bread baskets (with the linings) and start my adventure in baking sourdough breads😊
First off, the starter smelled so good and rose thrice the size quickly after feeding. I think I have to get a taller jar! The bread I made was super-yummy. Totally worth it.
