Edamame is a great side dish or a snack to have. In japan they are served with cold beer at bars.

How to prepare fresh edamame?
  1. Wash the edamame and drain the water.
  2. Massage the edamame with 1 Tablespoon of salt. This will help remove the hairy bits form the skin.
  3. Bring a large pot of water to a boil and add 1 Tablespoon of salt.
  4. Add the edamame with the salt on it and boil for 4 to 5 minutes.
  5. Drain off the water and serve on a plate. Enjoy hot or chilled!
