Aglianico del Vulture PRODUCTION AREA Acerenza (PZ)
Grapes are gently crushed and destemmed and put through a very careful selection to remove any traces of vegetable residuals on the bunch. The best grapes are then left to ferment in tanks made of fine french wood for about 5-6 months. Pre-fermentative maceration is then carried out at a temperature in barriques made of French wood for about 15 months and then bottle aged for another 12 months.

Deep red. Hints of Blackberry and blackcurrants mixed with spicy, balsamic notes. Great structure, long, balsamic finish, persistent aftertaste.
