What is Miso?
Miso is a traditional Japanese seasoning produced by fermenting soybeans with salt and the fungus Aspergillus oryzae. Here we use organic red quinoa instead of soybeans.

Red quinoa is a healthy grain on its own and we've enhanced the benefits by fermenting this powerful seed. Compared to soybeans, red quinoa is rich in proteins, containing all the essential amino acids.
The miso is fermented in a traditional way and packaged unpasteurized which makes it rich in natural digestive enzymes. It is highly recommended for people who need to nourish their gut.
