Water – you were dry fasting all night. Nourish with good clean (reverse osmosis) or mineral water. If you only have filtered water/reverse osmosis water, then add some minerals (fulvic/humic acid), to replace the nutrients. Apple Cider Vinegar Improve gut health – antiyeast, antiviral, antifungal properties. Inhibit the growth of gram neg bacteria in your gut that make endotoxins (LPS) Helps indigestion and heartburn – hypochlohydria (low HCl), due to poor diet, stress, smoking, alcohol, PPI /antiacids thinking they need to lower the acid when in fact they need more acid to digest. Natural antihistamine Stabilize blood sugar – must need with so many people insulin resistant/metabolic syndrome Reduce cravings by stabilizing blood sugar. No hangry feeling here! Boost weight loss – decrased sugar cravings means less ingested calories. Stops accumulating new fat by activating the enzyme called AMPK. Haruko's Morning Drink  INGREDIENTS (adapted from Mark Hyman – the face of our IFM) 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar 1/2 teaspoon ground or fresh ginger 1/4 teaspoon powdered cinnamon 1 cup water Optional for the bold: 1 ml liquid magnesium or fulvic/humic acid Baking Soda Test To check for hyphchlohydria 1. Perform test first thing in the morning on an empty stomach (before eating or drinking) 2. Dissolve ¼ teaspoon of baking soda into 8 oz of cold water 3. Drink the solution and start a timer 4. Record the time until your first burp 5. Perform on 5 consecutive days (or longer) at the same time each day to give a better estimation of your stomach’s acidity What do your results mean? Less than 2 minutes to burp = Normal level acidity 2 to 5 minutes to burp = low-normal acidity More than 5 minutes to burp = possible hypochlorhydria Water: How much should you drink every day? https://www.mayoclinic.org/healthy-li...
