Why we created this ghee 🧈💛 We couldn’t find a ghee in Hong Kong that tasted like the real thing — rich, nutty, and made properly — so we decided to make it ourselves. Slow-cooked in small batches right here in Hong Kong, using the finest organic butter from Normandy.

The butter we use We only use Isigny Sainte-Mère Organic Unsalted Butter, famous worldwide for its exceptional quality. The milk comes from happy, grass-fed and grass-finished cows that graze on nutrient-rich pastures in Normandy for at least 7 months of the year.

The cows live the good life 🐄

• Fed mainly organic feed, with at least 60% coming directly from the farm
• 100% grass-fed whenever weather allows (in winter they get high-quality preserved grass)
• GMO-free, antibiotic-free, no added amino acids
• No routine dehorning
• At least 6 m² of comfortable space per cow + constant access to pasture when possible

The result? A butter (and now ghee) with incredible depth of flavour and beautiful golden colour.

Is ghee low-FODMAP? ✅ Yes! During the slow simmering, lactose and milk solids are completely removed, making ghee naturally very low in FODMAPs and usually well-tolerated even by people with IBS. Start with small amounts and listen to your body.
