What is Sourdough?
Our sourdough bread is made from the fermentation ofย gluten-free flour andย filtered water, resultingย inย naturally occurringย lactobacilliย andย yea
- Sourdough traditionally has low levels of gluten but this one is 100% Gluten Freeย
- It's extremely soft and fluffy - the texture is simply unbelievable!
- The flavour and textureย is more enjoyableย thanย that of a commercially baked sourdoughย
- The slightly spongy texture makes it perfect to put spreads on, but it's delicious as is
Due to the long fermentation time, the macro nutrients in the bread (carbohydrates and protein) are broken down into smaller particles, which are easier to imbibe into our systems.
How to Eat it:
If freshly baked, enjoy it as is. Sourdough bread can last a long time without any preservatives due to the naturalย occurring acids in the bread. However, to enjoy the best texture, we recommend to slice and freeze if you are not going to consume it within 2 days from delivery. By toasting the frozen slice, you can enjoy it as if it were (almost) freshly baked!ย
How to Store:
Th best way to preserve gluten-free bread is toย freeze it. Hereโs how:

Slice the breadย into portions before freezing. This way, you can easily take out only what you need.

Place the slices in aย freezer-safe airtight containerย or aย ziplock bagย to prevent freezer burn.

When youโre ready to enjoy it, simply reheat it directly from frozen using the oven or toaster.
