The clay pot releases far-infrared rays that heat the contents from the inside, and this effect is enhanced as it gets heated. This allows the rice to be cooked through the core, resulting in fluffy and well-cooked rice.
Double Lid to Prevent Uneven Cooking and Boiling Over
The rounded shape of the main body promotes circulation of the rice within, ensuring even cooking. The double lid, with an inner and outer lid, applies just the right amount of pressure to prevent boiling over.

Material that Resists Absorbing Cooking Odors

KAKOMI is made of high-heat resistant ceramic that can withstand temperature differences of up to 500 degrees. It has an extremely low water absorption rate, so cooking odors do not easily transfer to the pot. This allows you to use it for a long time while keeping it clean, and you can cook white rice the next day after making dishes like paella without any concerns.

Smooth Measuring
The markings on the inside of the clay pot indicate the water levels for 1 cup and 2 cups of rice. You can adjust this based on the type of rice and your preferred cooking consistency. The included measuring cup holds 1 cup of rice and 180ml of water, so for cooking 1 cup of rice, you would use 1 cup plus 20ml of water, and for 2 cups, 2 cups plus 40ml.
