What is Sourdough?
Our sourdough bread is made from the fermentation of organic wheat, filtered water and Himalayan Crystal Salt, which results in naturally occurring lactobacilli and yea
Why it’s special:
This bread is a baked dessert that is not too sweet. We do not use white sugar, so the sugar content is lower than your traditional baked panettone, but the appearance of the bread looks the same as your regular panettone (on the outside)! Filled with delicious dried fruit for the texture and added natural sweetness.
We do not use any commercial dry yeast in our recipe. The long fermentation time makes the bread easier for digestion. The flavor and texture is more enjoyable than that of a commercially baked sourdough.
The macro nutrients in the bread (carbohydrates and protein) are broken down into smaller particles for absorption. People with gluten intolerances may find they can consume natural sourdough bread without experiencing discomfort.
How to Eat it:
If freshly baked, enjoy it as is. Sourdough can last a long time without any preservatives due to the natural occurring acids in the bread. Please keep it in an airtight container so that the panettone doesn't dry up!
